Mission in Japan

Japan is one of the countries where the message of Christ has met with the greatest political and cultural resistance.

Considered a country of "high spiritual need", Japan also reflects on the deepest questions of life and its worldview is full of connections with the Gospel.

The Holy Spirit is at work among the Japanese, and he can do this through you, in partnership with us (IEBPV), the Inter-Cultural Evangelical Mission and the International Mission Board, by sending the first Portuguese evangelical missionary to Japan.

You can be part of this mission, primarily through prayer, but also through any other method of support that the Lord calls you to.

"For the Scripture says, 'Whoever believes in him will not be put to shame."

Mission

Art in a culture of silence, friendship in a culture of loneliness, forgiveness in a culture of shame: shining the light of Christ in the Land of the Rising Sun.

 

Duration

Although the exact duration of this mission has not yet been defined, we are aiming for a period of between 2 and 3 years, at least in the initial phase.
